Tough game

Big Block :)
Good afternoon!  Did you all watch the Super-bowl?  I bet there are a number of you that like to watch the commercials, halftime show and thats it!  HAHA.  I wanted to fill you in on some news here in Turkey.  First off my wife and I are safe from the bombing.  If you didn't know there was a suicide bomber at the US Embassy here in Ankara.  It is pretty eery being in the same city where a bombing has happened.  You hear about them on the news all the time. But when it happens in the city where you live you have quite a different feeling.  We are safe and still smiling!

Defense
In our game last night we lost to the #1 team in the league 74-92.  You have to give Fenerbache credit, they are a very talented team.  However, I think we were very soft and didn't play tough at all as a team.  Our team defense was terrible and needs much improvement.  I ended with 8 points (4-6 2fg, 0-2 3fg), 9 assists, 2 rebounds, and 1 steal.  Our next game is on Wednesday in the first round of the Turkish Cup.  There are 8 teams that qualified for the Turkish Cup in the beginning of the year.  Basically, it is 3 games, if you win you keep playing if you lose you go home.  Our first opponent is Besiktas who we lost to earlier in the year at home.  It will be a tough game for us.  Hopefully we can come out with a better attitude and have a tough defensive mindset.

Lay-up w/ contact
AJ is continuing to evolve her photography skills.  People have been contacting her here in Turkey to do a variety of different shoots.  It is an exciting time for her and I am happy for her.  I am going to state this again.. if you need an outstanding photographer this summer you need to contact my wife at her website amandamosic.com.  I hope everyone was safe and had a wonderful Super-bowl.  We are going over to a teammates house for dinner and to watch the replay of the game.  Have an amazing Monday!  Make it a great day!  God Bless.. 1 John 3:2-3
